A yoked bodice dress, with a high neckline and fitted waistband. The back opening dress features a fitted yoke on which the balance of the bodice can be either gathered or pleated, allowing room for those blossoming bodies. It is meant to be worn as daily wear, or dressed up with a little ribbon or trim, it is suitable for a better dress. Options include both a bishop (shirt-style) and a coat sleeve. Instructions include growth tucks and hem bands to adjust the length of the skirt. Meant to be worn by girls from the age of 5 or 6 up until they graduate to adult clothing. Five basic sizes are included in the pattern.
