Civilian style trousers that could have been worn after about 1840, when the use of a front flap was discontinued in favor of a button fly. The pattern includes three styles of pocket opening: side (slash) pockets, a mule ear style and a modified slash pocket and a choice of hemlines for the front of the trouser. Tips for handling wool are also included. Trousers are sized using the waist and hip measurement. Available in two size groups: 32-42 and 44-52.
