A basic lined shell jacket or roundabout, that can be made in either the military or a civilian style. The design is based on a 6- piece shell jacket that was used by the soldiers of both the Union and Confederate armies and includes instructions for branch colors on collar and cuffs. For civilian purpose the same jacket was used by boys of all ages. Some were of coarser material and meant for work clothing, others were of a finer weight wool and meant for casual dress. Available in two size groups: 4-8 and 10-14.
