A basic shirt suitable for both military and civilian wear extending from the early 1800’s—1900. The pattern is categorized into three styles, but the necklines and collar options can be mixed and matched. The three styles are: A) Military Standard Issue Shirt, B) The Blockade Shirt, C) The Placket or civilian Shirt. The necklines include a keyhole opening, a bound opening and the standard placket. Both a banded and a fold-over collar are included. Because the pattern is cut using rectangles it can be used to make a shirt for a 2-year-old child or a generously proportioned gentleman. A truly “all sizes in one” pattern.
