This soft navy crocheted carriage bonnet is perfect for those times when you require a little something to cover your head and ears.  It is a great head covering when your cloak or cape does not have a hood. It is called a carriage bonnet because they were typically worn in the cooler months while riding in a carriage. The dusty blue ribbons add to the feminine look of the bonnet.  The pattern for this hood comes from the mid-Victorian era, and would be appropriate for events from the 1850’s on forward.  This hood is made from an acrylic blend fibers.  Custom orders are available if you would prefer a hood made of 100% wool yarn or a different color.
