TSO-410 Ruffled Mantle Pattern is for a pretty ruffled mantle. Mantles can be worn for fancy day wear or they make a beautiful complement for your evening or ball-gown attire. This style of mantle was worn for most of the century. This mantle can be made out of a variety of fabrics, your choice will depend on where and when you intend to wear your mantle.

For daytime and summer events Swiss batiste, organdy, net and soft laces will work well. Sheers and semi-sheers make elegant, soft and pretty mantles.

For evening and fancy dress, silk, taffetas, satins and laces will work. Choose a fabric that does not have a right-side and a wrong-side. Our mantle is edged with self-fabric ruffle, but a pretty lace may also be used.
