Our pretty day cap features a black soft tulle cap, trimmed with blue ombre (variegated) folded ribbon accented with opal glass beads and bows. A 3-inch-wide black lace coronet frames the face and 1-inch-wide lace softens the neckline. The back of the cap is accented with a ribbon "fascicule" highlighted with a soft bow. A metal headband, which is encased in the day cap, provides a comfortable and secure way to keep the cap on your head. The back of the cap is gathered to the neck to hold your hair or can be left looser for a softer look. The ribbon encased gathering allows the cap to fit most head sizes. This is a soft light-weight cap that is easy to wear and offers a great way to complete your look.

Not sure what to do with your hair? A cap just may be the perfect answer for you. This cap offers a practical way to tame unruly or shorter hair while still giving you the overall look of the Era.

Day caps were worn by most married women for both morning and day wear. The social status and economic means dictating the fabrics and trims used. Many of the more elaborately trimmed caps were worn for evening wear as well.
