TSM-725 Boys Button Fly Trousers Sewing Pattern, 19th Century Civilian
TSM-725 Boy’s Button Fly Trousers is a pattern for trousers that were worn for most of the 19th century. There are two options for the back of the trouser: the standard straight “civilian” back and the military style back. Two styles of waistband are included: the standard one-piece style and the two-piece military style with the eyelets in the back which allows growth in the trousers at the waist. The pockets are the basic side pockets that were used for both military and civilian styles. These trousers are designed to fit in the period style, with the waistband being higher than the waistbands of today. I have also included a simple pattern for a pair of button-style braces, to help hold the trousers up.
