Folded or pleated ribbons are a wonderful way to dress up a simple hairnet or daycap. These hair ribbons bring a great finishing touch. They can add that touch of color to enable you to match your nets and daycaps to your outfits. One good basic daycap or ribbon net and a selection of folded ribbons will provide you with many different looks for your hair care needs. They can also be worn towards the back of the head for dressier elegant evening wear.
Our ribbons feature a folded band accented with a secondary ribbon and /or beads. The ends are finished with bows, buttons, tassels and other finishing details. We try to create each on slightly different, when possible.

No. 1 Red, Green and Yellow Plaid: Pretty red, green and yellow multi-colored plaid ribbon. Ends are finished with plaid ribbon bows.
Measures 19 inches. Bow to Bow is 14 inches and the tails can be shortened if desired.

The ribbons can be pinned or stitched on to most hairnets or daycaps adding a unique finishing touch to your simple head coverings. Many CDV’s from the Era show hair coverings finished this way.
Our ribbons average 19 inches long, perfect for fitting over the top of your head and resting at ear level to frame your face. The ends of most can be trimmed if a shorter ribbon is needed.
Need help keeping the ribbons on? Small metal clip barrettes can be sewn to the underside of the ribbon to secure it in place.
