COLD? This wonderful handcrafted vest is perfect for keeping your upper body warm. This pretty soft cream hug-me-tight is made with 100% wool. The stripes are a deep navy and cadet blue to give the hug-me-tight a dressier look. The ties at the sides and the button front closures keep the hug-me-tight close to the body. This hug-me-tight is sized as a regular adult (modern size 10 – 16). The ties allow the vest to be adapted and fitted to you by moving them up or down, tightening or loosening them. This is a great alternative to a sontag and does not shift around on the body like a sontag can.
This vest is appropriate for Civil War reenactments as well as 1800’s events such as Dickens or Christmas Fairs or wagon train (Prairie). It would also be a good item for workers or volunteers at historical sites.
