This pattern is for a lined Zouave jacket that fastens at the neckline and curves along the front. There are two styles of back; a straight cut, (which is the imitation of the Algerian Zouave uniform back) and a slightly pointed style (which appeared slightly later). I have included two styles of sleeve for this jacket, a wider pagoda style and a slimmer coat style. Zouave jackets can be worn over a dress to change the look or add warmth.
