Our poke bonnet features white eyelet lace around the brim and an adjustable back so that it will fit most head sizes. The brim is filled and quilted with a felt insert, so that it will stay stiff and not droop in the rain. The back of the bonnet has a curtain to protect the neck from sunburn. The bonnet is made from 100% cotton muslin in your choice of pastel color so can be machine washed. Properly taken care of, this item should provide you with many years of use.
These accessories are suitable for living history reenactors from 1800 and forward, as well as Dicken's Fairs, wagon trains, pioneer days and other historical themed events. It also makes a great gardening bonnet.
