TSA-501 Sleeve Jockeys Pattern is for undersleeves or false sleeves that are one of the most common accessories worn by women of the Era. They were used not only for their looks but also to help protect the clothing from soil and wear.
This pattern is for:
3 styles of sleeve jockeys:
Basic Plain Sleeve in 3 widths
Sleeves with horizontal Trim
Sleeves with vertical Trim

5 styles of cuffs; usable for these sleeve jockeys. With the addition of a fabric band many of the cuffs can be tacked into the narrower style sleeves.
Basic narrow cuff—usually 1—1 1/2” wide
Fancy Cuff—usually embroidered
Cuff with ruffles or lace
Regular shirt style cuff that folds back over the sleeve
A rounded version of the two-part shirt style cuff
This pattern is designed so that you can mix and match your sleeves and cuffs to get many different results. Some embroidery designs and fabric trim methods are included.

Chemisettes, collars, sleeve jockeys and cuffs were often made in sets with similar trimmings, helping to enhance the illusion that a complete body was being worn, when in fact it was just matching accessories. TSA-502 Chemisettes and Collars is the perfect companion pattern for this reason.
