A must have for every wardrobe!
Every lady had her Bodies or as we know them today blouses. Plain white ones were worn under Zouave Jackets, Swiss Bodies and Vests. Fancy, lace trimmed ones and those known as “garibaldi” blouses were worn with pretty skirts by the younger set. This pattern is for a Body that tucks into the skirt. The pattern can be made as a garibaldi blouse, or with the addition of trims and/or pin tucking can be worn as a bodice. When combined with a skirt of the same fabric it can be worn by women of all ages and makes a good work or basic dress. The unique design of the pattern allows for elaborate trim work without the worry of how it is affected by the sizing. The pattern includes three neckline and collar choices as well as two cuff options on the bishop styled sleeves.

Combine with a Timeless Stitches skirt pattern to create a basic work dress.
TSS-201 Double Opening Skirt, TSS-202 Gauged Skirt, andTSS-203 Gored Skirt all work well.

This pattern is available in two size groups:
