Our pretty lace day cap features a white patterned tulle/net cap, trimmed with white satin ribbon accented with lace and lavender ribbon. The back of the cap features a row of white beading lace accented with a lavender ribbon. Half inch wide white lace softens the neckline. A metal headband, which is encased in the day cap, provides a comfortable and secure way to keep the cap on your head. The back of the cap is gathered to the neck to hold your hair or can be left looser for a softer look and allows the cap to fit most head sizes. Day caps were worn by most married women for both morning and day wear. The social status and economic means dictating the fabrics and trims used.
