White Lace Fanchon Styled Day Cap with Navy and Baby Blue Ribbon Accents, Civil War
This elegant day cap is made of white patterned net. The crown of the cap features a navy folded ribbon ending in baby blue and navy ribbon loops. Milliners wire is encased in the front edge of the cap, which provides a comfortable and secure way to keep the cap on your head and can be adjusted to fit your head. The back of the cap is edged with 3 1/2 inch wide lace gathered upon milliner’s wire accented with baby blue and navy ribbons. Blue and navy tails finish the crown of the cap. This is a soft light-weight cap that is easy to wear and offers a great way to complete your look. Unlike many of the day caps of the Era this cap is meant to sit on top of your finished coiffure and NOT to contain your hair.
